Chiang Mai Troop 731 has been well established here for decades. We are a part of the Boy Scouts of America and the purpose of Scouting is to encourage the physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual development of young people so that they take a constructive place in society as responsible citizens, and as members of their local, national and international communities.

Scouting is open for both boys and girls aged from 10.5 to 18 years of age and the Chiang Mai Troop generally meets every 2 weeks on Monday night from 6 pm to 7.30 pm at Chiang Mai International School (CMIS). We go camping for a weekend every 4 to 5 weeks and some other weekends involve fundraising and community service projects.
Initial enrollment including, uniforms and Scoutbook is around 7000B for the first year and annual fees after that are 5000B. These fees also cover full insurance coverage.
Our troop promotes inclusion and celebrates diversity but most of all, it’s about having fun in outdoors and learning valuable skills for life.
